Description: | |
This is the sixth in a series of technique based swaps. Please use the wrinkle free distress technique on your ATC or tag. To learn the technique, check out this video by Tim Holtz or a Photo Tutorial. For inspiration, you might want to check out the gallery for this technique at Splitcoast Stampers. It doesn't have to be used on the background but that's probably the easiest way to use it. Distress inks work the best but you do not have to use them. Other inks work too. If you don't have a Teflon craft sheet, any large plastic surface that will wipe clean will work. Even a garbage bag! I love this technique, it is super fun too. You never know exactly how it's going to turn out. I like to work with a bigger piece of cardstock than I need so I can cut out my favourite section to use on my project! *This is not a pass-it-on or trade swap. YOU must make this! *If you use rubber stamping, please stamp cleanly; missed areas, smudges or double lines are not acceptable. *Please check your partner's profile and avoid dislikes both in colour and theme. You may make this profile based if you wish. *Please only use computer generated images if they are extremely high quality and show no pixelation even upon close inspection. And no magazine cut outs. *Please make a beautiful ATC or tag you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive. *The ATC or tag must each include a total of at least 4 layers and/or embellishments. The technique counts as one embellie. So, for example, an ATC with a base layer, a layer with the technique and a button counts as 4 layers/embellies. You must use all quality craft supplies. No cheap junk. *Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight. Colouring needs to look adult, not like a child did it. Please don't be discouraged by these rules. I am only referring to general tidy work, not tiny flaws. *Please have a 4.98+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up date. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out. |
