Description:

This is going to be split up in to 2 rounds / 2 swaps. First round will be for assembling a kit; second round will be for utilizing the kit you receive to make 2 ATC's.

Kit Requirements

  • 2 blank, sturdy backgrounds ~ chipboard, watercolor paper or similar; cut to standard ATC size.

  • 4 patterned background papers ~ sheet music, text, patterned scrap book papers, hand-painted papers, etc.

  • 5 collage images ~ book/magazine cut-outs, images from collage sheets, nicely stamped images.

  • 5 flat embellishments ~ paper punches, postage stamps, die-cuts, Dresden foil trim, stickers, pieces of washi tape.

  • 4 fancy, "unusual" or 3D embellishments ~ lace, ribbon, metal charms & other metal pieces, game pieces, buttons, brads.

  • 2 plastic trading card sleeves.

There's no set theme - the items you send are sender's choice. All pieces, images and embellishments should be appropriate sizes for ATC's. Package items so that they reach your partner in good condition. Loose embellishments can be contained in baggies or coin envelopes; sticky pieces (like washi tape) can be attached to wax paper or re-cycled sticker packaging.

I've set this up as a limited private swap because I couldn't decide what group to host it in and estimating international postage was getting scary (2 oz and you're already over $6, dang). Those who participate will be invited back for round two, which will be to make 2 ATC's using the kit you received in this round.

Thanks for the invite! Sounds like fun! Girl, you are not joking about international postage gone wild! I sent a few items to Norway & Peru...Holy Bat poop! Almost $11 each! The contents weren't worth that much!
