I have designated this swap as "outside US only" so as not to compete with @OrigamiGrace 's "US only" swap for the same thing. This swap has been duplicated with her permission. (";) All of my swaps are open to all skill levels, including beginners. Why send boring envies when you can send handmade ones?? You will have 1 partner and make and send them 5 handmade envies - assorted sizes, from ATC sleeve to notecard, with at least 3 being notecard size or bigger! For the notecard size envies, please enclose blank stick-on labels for the send-to address if dark or heavily patterned paper is used to make them. (Do not stick them onto the envies though - we'll leave that up to the receiver because their ultimate use may dictate a different position.) The 5 envies should be sturdily made, well enough to survive a trip through the mail! All edges except the mailing flap should be glued or taped down all the way, no loose bits please! Whether or not you provide a closure for the flap is up to you. This is a fun and easy way to use up old calendars, maps, glossy magazines, cardstock - BUT if the paper you use for the notecard size envies is thin, please line the envelopes. Senders choice so you can start right away! If you need templates, you can google them, or check out some of Grace's favourite links in this swap. Have fun! |
