Description:

minimum requirements: *access to an asian grocery store *$8 worth of candy

Asian candy is often times, fun, exciting, and mysteriously flavoured.

For this trade, you will find at least eight dollars worth of Asian candy to mail to your one swap partner.

Try to have varied types of interesting candy; an interesting mix of candies is always fun to receive, and if you do it right, fun to put together.

Originally, I had suggested the use of flat rate envelopes, but someone suggested otherwise, so now I'm leaving it up to the masses. You may mail your candy however you wish, but please try to send what you would like to receive.

For this swap, I think it would be okay to take individually wrapped candies out of their original bags to save room. You may even mix a bunch of different candies into a sort of grabbie if you so wish.

Any suggestions are welcome, and I will try to make this swap as flexible as possible.

You may post your preferences below, but please try not to be too picky! This swap is about receiving surprises, after all.

This swap is open to newbies with a filled out profile, and all others.

This is also a good chance to earn some hearts, if you play your cards right. ;)

I will be checking to make sure every swapper is reliable.

Question. Why the flat rate envelope? I send candy often and it doesn't cost the amount of a flat rate envelope to ship. Also for sending the koala's and other biscuit type Asian cookies and candies, a flat rate envelope is not padded and can equal a crushed candy swap arriving on the doorstep of a swapper.

In my humble but experience opinion from shipping candy, a small box or padded envelope is a much better choice.

Hope this helps.

Can we all maybe list our favorite candies or preferred candies to get ?

@area 51ufo1: Yes, you may list your preferred or favourites, but please don't expect your partners to send you all of them, as some stores may have limited selection. A better thing to list may be flavours.

Umm, as the coordinator, this is a question for once everyone receives their swaps. How did you like this swap? Would you be interested in round 2? Also, for this current swap, if anyone should suddenly not be able to continue with the swap, please message me so I can angel! Thank you~
