Trendy and pretty tape (like washi) does not always have to be purchased, it can be made as well, Let's explore that! In this swap we will exchange a total of 30" of tape that is at least 0.5" wide. That means it can be 3 pieces of 10"-long tape or 5 pieces of 6"-long tape. But no piece should be less than 5". Please tape your tapes to parchment paper or freezer paper (plastic side, of course), so it is flat mail. You can try and duplicate washi tape, tissue tape, fabric tape or lace tape. Feel free to add stamped pattern and some pretty markings. Please do not send commercially made tapes. YOU can use commercially made materials to make it, like tissue paper with some kind of print, or fabric, obviously, just not the ready made tape. Pinterest is an awesome source of info and tutorials on how to make your own tape with tons of cool techniques. |
