This is an easy swap. You will think of your favorite song right now, whether it's old or new, and tell your two partners about it via email (i.e. NOT Swap-Bot private message).

Send your partners a link to the song on a site such as YouTube. Make sure it's a site where your partners can listen to it easily WITHOUT signing up, paying, or registering.

Also include in your email a note about why you like the song. It should be at least a couple of sentences.

Please send individual emails to your partners, or BCC them on the email to protect their privacy.

This is a low-stakes electronic swap, but I do not host to help bad swappers bury their poor ratings. I WILL remove questionable swappers from this swap. If you have poor ratings, please proactively email me about why I should let you in.

Newbies with reasonably filled out profiles are allowed.

Okay! Going to start thinking what's been on my playlist the last week or so!

I am very upset that I got banned from this swap without letting me respond especially since I had my email already completed. So here's my email. If anyone would like to email me please do. I spent a lot of time on this and enjoyed it but feel really let down now.

One of my favorite songs is by CCR aka Creedance Clearwater Rival.

"Have You Ever Seen The Rain"

Someone told me long ago There's a calm before the storm, I know; It's been comin' for some time. When it's over, so they say, It'll rain a sunny day, I know; Shinin' down like water.

[CHORUS:] I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain? I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain Comin' down on a sunny day?

Yesterday, and days before, Sun is cold and rain is hard, I know; Been that way for all my time. 'Til forever, on it goes Through the circle, fast and slow, I know; It can't stop, I wonder.

[CHORUS] Yeah! [CHORUS]

For some reason I LOVE songs about rain in some meaning or another. I guess it could be because I am an Aquarius. This song to me always kinda made me think I am a person that can go from cold to hot in two seconds flat. The calm before the storm. But I am glad that I did this swap because I researched this song and this is what I found.

💧"Have You Ever Seen the Rain" is a song written by John Fogerty and released as a single in 1971 from the album Pendulum(1970) by roots rock group Creedence Clearwater Revival. The song charted highest in Canada, reaching number one on the RPM 100 national album chart in March 1971.[1] In the US, it peaked at number eight on theBillboard Hot 100 singles chart in the same year. On Cash Box pop chart, it peaked at number three. Billboard co-listed the b-side "Hey Tonight". In the UK, it reached number 36. It was the group's eighth gold-selling single.[2] Some have speculated that the song's lyrics are referencing the Vietnam War, with the "rain" being a metaphor for bombs falling from the sky.[3] In his review of the song forAllmusic website, Mark Deming suggests that the song is about the idealism of the 1960s fading in the wake of events such as theAltamont Free Concert and the Kent State shootings and that Fogerty is saying that the same issues of the '60s still existed in the 1970s but that people were no longer fighting for them.[4] However, Fogerty himself has said in interviews and prior to playing the song in concert that the song is about rising tension within CCR and the imminent departure of his brother Tom from the band.[5]💧

@Angdev - I banned you because of your response to your three rating, which you have subsequently deleted. I don't want participants in my swap subjected to that type of personal insult because of my hosting choices. I'm sorry that this upsets you.
