Description:

I am making up lots of hearts from fabric scraps and felt right now. They are really quite fun and easy to do. :) So, why not pack a baggie with the makings of a heart for our partners?!

Sandwich sized baggie at least. Goes without saying, really, and you will find that a storage sized will better accommodate your heart "fixings".

Send one (1) piece of fabric cut into a basic heart shape, one (1) piece of coordinating felt for the back, some fiberfill for stuffing the heart, a strip of ribbon for hanging and any embellishment you would like to include: a button, some beads, smaller heart shapes, etc. ( Most of my hearts have a smaller heart cut from the same fabric as the front sewn on to the otherwise plain felt back. )

You may go ahead and sew up the heart if you like, but it is not a requirement. Even "nonsewists" among us should be able to tack the two halves together. :)

What else? Size of the hearts is somewhere in the 4" to 6" range. Try not to go much smaller or larger if you can. This is just to keep things fair. It would be too sad if you sent a 12" fabric heart to your partner and only got a 3" heart in return! Colours are senders' choice. Think Valentine's Day and spring time!

I will angel if necessary, but I know I will not have to! :D Happy swapping!
