Zentangle, or Tangling, is a drawing form of meditation in which one focuses attention on the one line being drawn right then. It is always fun, and there is no such thing as a mistake. Beginning tanglers are welcome, as are more experienced tanglers. This is round 2 in a series of swaps.

This is a continuation of an earlier swap. When you receive your incoming Zentangle Deco, please complete one tile-sized Zentangle in the book you received. It will continue it's journey in this round.

It has been requested that once you receive a Zentangle Deco in the mail, you send a message to the originator, saying you have it. This is requested for each round, please.

If this is completely new to you, tanglepatterns.com and zentangle.com are great sources. There are some really wonderful books available, if you want to start learning. Try your library. I will run another swap after this series, so you can join that one.

PLEASE don't join if you can't complete the swap. If life happens and you are late, please notify your assigned partner and me! I will angel if need be. I hope nobody makes that necessary.

I am going to allow Zentangle 'newbies'. You will still need to have been rated for at least 5 swaps, either Type 2 and/or Type 3

You must have a filled out profile. I will be looking at each one. Minimum rating will be 4.95 I will remove anyone from the swap who has unresolved 1s, or 3s. If you don't meet the swap requirements, message me and perhaps we can do a private swap.

Once everyone has marked SENT, I will post another round.

I'd like some feedback on the ten day send period. Is this too long? Might I make it a week without stressing swappers out? In theory, once he deco is made, it only takes one Zentangle and an envelope to move this along. Please let me know. I may adjust the sending time for the following swaps.

Personally, I think it's fine the way it is. Thanks!

Ten days seems good. It's true that we can work on our tangles immediately upon receipt of our partner's Deco Book but sometimes time won't permit. And it isn't just finishing the zentangle -- swapping is a package: perhaps personal touches, a note, an extra. : ) And the dates you've offered give people two weekends. (I personally appreciate Monday mailing dates.) You haven't received the deco book from your first round partner, so you may only have those ten days (I guess unless you are planning to do your tangling on a separate tile and glue it in).

P.S. Thanks for sending the heads-up PM. :)

Ten days is short for me. I don't normally do swaps with short deadlines but feel like this is ok since I can complete the actual page ahead of time!

Thanks for your input, all. Sounds like ten days is good for most people, considering we can do our Zenangle ahead of time, and glue it in. I glue in my tile, but I do it after the Deco arrives. I could make one and hold it for the Deco!
