Description: | |
I love learning about other religions/belief systems and their beliefs and rituals. I'm hoping that there are others here like me who would be interested in reading about another person's faith. In this swap, you will send to 1 partner the following: 1 letter (typed or handwritten) - at least 2 A5 (5.8 x 8.3 inches) pages (or 1 page front and back) about your faith -- more is definitely welcome! Briefly (or not so briefly!) describe your beliefs. You can also include information about the history of your religion, and talk about your practices and customs, like how you worship and/or pray and any holy days you celebrate. 1 item representative of your religion. This can be a charm, rosary, icon, small statue, crystal, etc. or a handmade item which expresses what your faith means to you (as not all religions have devotional objects). 1 small profile-based surprise for your partner (minimum value approximately £2/€2.50/$3.50). This swap is for learning about relgions which may be different to your own. Please do not join if you would be offended by receiving an item representing another relgion. This is NOT a swap for trying to convert others to your religion. Please be considerate of your partner and do not send 'hellfire and brimstone' pamphlets or criticise another faith. The object you send is sender's choice, but please do not send anything intentionally offensive to your partner. You must have completed and been rated for at least 5 Type 3 swaps to join. No unexplained 1s or 3s. I will check profiles before assigning partners and reserve the right to ban anyone who I think might not send. Please comment below or message me if you have any questions. :) This is my first (and possibly last!) time hosting, so I'm sure I've overlooked something! |
