. . . of Guadalupe!

You will create one shrine for one partner entitled "The [ shrine subject ] of Guadalupe"

Here's your chance to give something iconic a more 'holy' public face. We will each create a shrine to something or someone that/who is worshiped - perhaps undeservedly.... Think Virgen de Guadalupe meets pop culture!

I've also done two quilts, Diet Shrine and Cupcake of Guadalupe (shown above) on this theme. People really seem to ejoy these, so y'all need to get in on the fun!

No size requirements, but let's say your shrine should be larger than a matchbox (at least 2" on each side), but no bigger than 5" or 6" square. Any shape is acceptable.

Open to all swappers in the Shrine-o-Mine group and those wishing to join (with at least 10 completed snail-mail swaps and a 4.9 rating, without recent unresolved no-sends).

You'll have almost 2 months after finding out who your partner is, so make an effort to give them something they'll laugh over and love.
