Description:

I love birds! Every morning I put out seed and peanuts and wait for my feathered friends to come and feast.

Let's all create a washi bird on a string to bring a bit of spring inside. You can choose any bird you like--a songbird, an owl, a robin, a blue jay, a duck, a swan, or just a generic bird.

Here are the requirements:

  • 1 washi tape bird finished on BOTH sides. One side can be washi and the other side can be washi OR just a piece of pretty paper so no raw washi edges are showing

  • bird must measure at least 4"x4" but can certainly be larger

  • punch a hole and insert a string, ribbon, twine, etc., for hanging

You can add embellishments to the bird or the string if you like--design is sender's choice.

Simple bird templates are available through google (search bird or owl templates)

Won't you join in the fun?
