We are going to upcycle our own (free) scratch paper memo boxes. This is not partner specific, so go ahead and start now! On your own, you'll make yourself a small box, more than 3 inches wide, and inch or two tall and deep... I cut down a small quick bread box for mine. (Trader Joes pumpkin bread to be exact!!) it took 5 minutes. Now cover it with pretty paper. Check out this site for good specific instructions on this. Your box does not need to be made before you participate! The only thing that needs to be the same for all of us is the width... Slightly more than three inches. My box is 3 1/2 inches wide x 2 deep x 2 1/4 tall. Cover it with anything you like.. A book page, security envelope lining, scrapbook paper... Your call! Now for the SWAP element... Cut 3x3 inch squares of some of your extra papers. One side HAS to be blank (or lined) for writing notes. The other side can be the same or have anything on it. You might find you can use scrapbook paper, junk mail, heavy wrapping paper, book pages... (See her site again for ideas) Send at least 10 3x3 inch squares of your various random upcycled note papers to three partners... So everyone receives 30 different squares. That's it! |
