Sometimes we just need to let folks know that we're busy writing. For this swap, create a door hanger that tells people your partner is busy writing. You can use "Writer at Work. Do Not Disturb" or some other wording. Your creation should, however, say more than just "do not disturb."

Check your partner's profile. She/he may be a poet, novelist, blogger, etc.

How to make one

You can get wooden or plastic blank ones at craft stores like Michael's or JoAnn, design your own using sturdy cardboard or other material, or use a template. You can print and enlarge the one here as a basic template. And here are a couple of websites with free templates you can use if you'd like:
