I'm a bit puzzled. What are we supposed to do if our swap partner wants to receive a pattern on a topic we are not interested in? For exampe I crochet and own many patterns, but I can't knit and therefore I have zero knitting patterns.

funkykchicken 01/ 6/2007 #

The patterns should be ones you already have and can copy. You would then get to keep the original.I think most people who would sign up will be interested in different types of things. Some people who knit will often crochet as well.

There are also many patterns on the internet for free.Maybe im just odd i make quilts, totes, knit, crochet anything to do with fibers.Perhaps you could introduce them to something they have never tried but always wanted to.

I think you should add more categories to this swap to attract more people, or we'll be sending patterns to eachothers. Even though that wouldn't be so bad either.

Thanks for the advice i added everything even remotely connected to patterns.

funkykchicken 01/10/2007 #

Oh and if we only end up swapping with each other then let me know what kind of patterns you want.I have some crochet patterns but dont want to send you something you may already have.

I just cleaned out my crafty area and have a stack of uncut clothing and crafty patterns I am not going to use. This is just what I am looking for! I would love to trade out these patterns for new (to me) ones!

funkykchicken 01/22/2007 #

Thats wonderful thanks for joining us.Be sure to mention the patterns you would like to receive.

Hello...

I have tons of quilting patterns and fabric. I would love either quilting patterns or crochet patterns. Any pattern is welcomed as I can always find homes for them if I can't use them myself.

Thanks...this should be fun.

Hi everyone, I love to crochet, not knit. I really would like some baby blanket patterns (for the day I become a grandma). I would also like anything to make for puppies. I am willing to try just about any craft, except knitting. For some reason I just can't handle those darn two needles at the same time. Hmmm....maybe I should try again if I had an instruction book.

Hi Ladies

Thanks for signing up.For those who haven't done so already. Please be sure to check your partners likes and add your own.

The only patterns i would not want is knitting i love yarn and use it but i don't actually knit.

Hi carseat tourist & Marnel: Your packages will be in the mail tomorrow. Please note that it can take 4 weeks to send mail from here (not Siberia, but we might as well be, given the lousy mail service!) to there. Tassy

marnel 02/ 3/2007 #

Thanks for the heads up Tassy! I will patiently anticipate your generousity.
