Description: | |
Over the course of a week or two you will send your partner five different envies... Each envelope will be color themed and will contain a few small color themed ( as much as possible) goodies inside that the recipient can use on her next mail art project. (Anything... A rubber stamp (especially the flat kind- easy to mail), stamped images, interesting stickers, unusual or fun magazine images or phrases, any ephemera we think might be fun: ticket stubs, fortunes, etc) ... Whatever you might put outside an envie or package yourself. Each envelope will represent a different color. Each needs only require minimal postage and none need to be profile based (although they can be), so feel free to start them well ahead of time. They should also EACH include a brief (or not brief) note including swap info and some personal bits -not TOO personal, please!! ;) But something nice to read... A childhood memory, why you chose the items you did, a poem you wrote or a poem you love, a list of your favorite books to read, anything at all. Suggested order for mailing:
Red The actual order of mailing isn't important, as long as the five colors are sent. The final color may be a new color or a repeat. So... One partner. Five envies, which may be prepared ahead if you wish, mailed over the course of seven to fourteen days. Each envie is themed with the above colors and contains a note and a few color themed pieces the recipient can use in their mailart. Got it? Group requirements must be met and maintained for participation. Rate a five (or five heart!) if you receive 5 color themed envies each containing a note and a few color themed bits to use in your own mail art. Remember int'l mail takes longer to receive. Have fun! And mail on time! :-) |
