24 days of gifts advent calendar #91 - Hand made

Christmas is here soon! Or not. But December 1st isn't -that- far away (it never is!), and November and December are both busy and expensive, so having advent calendars ready is a good feeling, even when it's still months away =) And of course you are allowed to open your presents at any time you want, so if you are the type of person that just can't wait, you don't have to ;P

You will have 4 partners and send 6 gifts to each of them. This way you will have a gift to open every day until Christmas, from 4 different places in the world!

PLEASE think about the fact that this is something that is going to be in someones living area for quite a long time, so please make it as pretty as you can. You are NOT allowed to use envelopes to "wrap" this swap. Feel free to "cheat" by using any kind of gift bags (like organza or cellophane) or other ready made stuff, just remember that it has to survive transit. If you can; please add some way to hang the gifts, many of us hang them on hooks or on the Christmas tree! Just make sure the hanging mechanism can hold the gift without falling off.

You are REQUIRED to mark all the gifts with what swap it is and who it is from. This does not have to be a big operation with hand made gift tags and such (unless you really want to), just write with a marker on the tape you used to wrap the gift with or something like that =)

This swap is themed! They will all be themed this year! If you want to do profile based swaps for advent calendars this year, please visit the group forum and see who else is up for that there =)

HAND MADE!

You can make anything, including (but by all means not limited to) earrings, cards, tags, hair clips, necklace, altered things, soaps, cosmetics, candles, magnets, ornaments, or whatever it is you like to make. Of course you can make and send the same 6 things to all your 4 partners, this is not a profile based swap, but do check profiles for particular allergies, especially with jewelry, cosmetics, soaps and edibles. And you can not make 24 pairs of earrings, it has to be more diverse than that.

This is of course not a small swap, but it's not the money you spend on this that counts, but the time you put into it. I'm not going to set any requirements or limits, you didn't make it into this group by being a sloppy swapper =)

Remember that people can come back in December and change their ratings when the gifts are opened. But you are required to rate with a 5 as soon as you get your gifts in the mail, no matter when you are planning to open them!
