Thank you all for making my first Poetry Journal swap as host a smooth process, although please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. So on to the next round... The swap details If this is your first time in this swap, you need to buy or make a pocket-size journal (sizes approximately 13x20cm or 5x8inch) of no less than 10 and no more than 30 pages. You should write your address + swap bot Username on the inside of the front cover, or on the front of the first page. You may but don't have to fill 1 - 2 pages with poetry or song lyrics. (Mention the source.) Then you send it on its way to your swap partner. For those of you who have been a part of this series for a while, you fill 1 - 2 pages of the journal you currently hold with poetry or song lyrics (again, mention the source), and add your username + the date to the pages filled. Feel free to add illustrations or other forms of art if you wish, although they are not compulsory. Then send your filled journal on to your partner. When you receive the journal from your partner, hold on to it until the next swap, and then we'll do it all over again - just as normal. Don't forget, if you receive a journal that has only 1 - 2 pages left, fill it and send it back to its owner. We all want to see our own filled journals back so let's make that happen. Be as creative as you like with the poetry. It can be your favourite poem, something you have written, or something you think your partner might love. We all gravitate to different kinds of text, so it will be great to see what the full journal contains. If you decide to drop out, kindly let me and/or the journal owner know so we can arrange to get their journal back. |
