Postcard: What's Stopping You From Writing?

For this swap we're going to send our writing troubles away on a postcard. Since our partner is doing us a favor by taking our problems, please use a nice non-ad, non-tourist postcard. (Zazzle, Etsy, or thoughtfully handmade cards welcome).

Step 1 : Think about something that's stopping you from writing. Do you not have the time? Are you overcome by writer's block? Does your cat keep rubbing against the computer cord and unplugging it, deleting hours of work?

Step 2: Think about something you can do to improve the situation. This may be straightforward (i.e. barricade the door so the cat won't get in). Or it may require thinking a little more about what the real source of the problem is. Do you literally have no time at all, or have you never sat down and mapped out your schedule with a mind to making writing a priority? Do you really have writer's block, or are you afraid that your story is going in a direction that you don't think you can handle?

Step 3: Write down both your problem and your solution/improvement on a postcard. Remember to include the swap title and your swap-bot name!

Step 4: Dispose of your problem in the nearest postal receptacle. Now you're free to work on making things better!

Remember to rate when you receive your partner's problem! After that, feel free to do anything you like with it, so long as you don't return to sender!

This swap is open to all group members in good standing. You have one week from the sign-up date to get your postcard in the mail.
