This is a fun way to share some smaller pieces (snippets) of washi tape, perhaps from some of the samples you’ve received, or even from your own rolls. Your partner can then use them to decorate ATCs, postcards, envelopes, stationery, etc. Here’s what to do: You will write a note to your partner on one side of a note card and you will put washi snippets on the other. You will first need to lay down a shiny surface so that the washi tape can be easily removed (I’m thinking that clear or colored packing tape would probably work best.) The bigger your note card, the more washi snippets you can share – LOL! As to what you write, perhaps you tell a little about your day or what you love about washi tape. As will be the way with all my washi swaps, please add a few strips of washi tape to your envelope. Plain white envelopes are so boring when we have tape for pizzazz!! :) |
