For this swap, you will have 1 partner and send them 13 gifts in order to celebrate Halloween! Send one goodie for each day leading up to Halloween! A matching jewelry set with a bracelet and pair of earrings would count as one day, not three. It is sender's choice to make it a little easier to start working on your packages early! However, if you are sending anything edible, check your partner's profile for allergies! Simply choose and/or make 13 gifts for your partner to enjoy. It can be a mix of handmade and store bought. Wrap each day individually with the number marked so we know what day to open which gift. 13 will be for the first day and 1 will be for the last day. It's a countdown from 13-1. Nothing too fancy is required for the wrapping; it is just so the surprises aren't spoiled. Some black tissue paper or a paper bag tied with black or orange ribbon is all you need! You can also take a brown paper bag and stamp it with halloween stamps in order to make neat and inexpensive wrapping. Please try to make the last day's present the most special! Please do not send homemade eats such as rice krispie treats or anything that might go stale or bad before the receiver gets around to opening it. However, if you are just dying to send some homemade treats you can wrap some securely and use it for cushioning! The general colors of Halloween are orange and black, but you can be creative with the items you send. Purple and green are traditionally colors given to witches, which is very Halloween related! Below are some ideas to get you started:
These are just suggestions. Be as creative as you would like. Please send good quality items. Send something that you would enjoy receiving. If you start opening your presents on October 19, you should get to open the last one on Halloween! Of course, if you can't wait and open them all at once, that's okay, too. This swap is International, so I am allowing plenty of time for signing up, creating and sending. If you have any questions, just let me know. Happy Swapping! |
