This is the third of a bi-monthly series of self portraits. In this ATC swap you will do your self portrait in Frida Khalo style. Please use any medium that requires art from you for this swap. No major sticker usage. Nothing that takes under 10 minutes. Please make a portrait you would love to have. Since these are self-portraits, the swap cannot be angeled and therefore you must have a 4.95 or better and no partial/no sends in the last 9 months. No newbies, sorry but I had to angel for a newbies' partners in a recent swap of mine and I want everyone to get a card (I can't do their self-portraits either). I have final decision as to those participating. May -- Piccasso July -- Shag Sept -- Frida Nov -- ?

I think you should be appreciative for hard work, so don't sign up if you flake on leaving refs - it's just as bad as receiving and not sending out. Due date is September 30. I hope we get a lot of wonderful artists sign up!

this is genius.. frida did so many self-portraits, it is only right to pay homage to her in this way.. she would appreciate it i am sure.. i hope i can join.. i am waiting for ratings.. living in australia makes things go very slowly.. i want to be in a swap with artists.. self portraits are a challenge.. would love to see the other swaps.. what about niki de saint phalle for november.. niki for november..?

Thanks for wanting to participate with the Frida "You" Self-Portraits! Thanks for the suggestion. Like last time I will entertain all suggestions for next artist. Try to keep it fresh & someone whose style people can more readily attempt of themselves.

Hi all, I will be leaving this message also on my profile page. AT&T which (for the moment) is still my DSL has taken over 2 weeks to make a 'name change' on this computer's acct. We are offline while this happens. I check my mail a couple times a week from another location. Please bear with this. I will extend the deadline to 3 days later than the 30th to accomodate the few days late I was in assigning partners. Thank you for your patience.
