Description: | |
The object of this swap is to introduce yourself, via a gluebook, to your partner. Use whatever medium, or combination of mediums, you wish to describe yourself. Feel free to draw, paint, use magazine cutouts, internet clipart, etc., to decorate each page. There is no right or wrong way to decorate your page. Think of it like a scrapbook. For example, if there is a television show that you enjoy, decorate a page using pictures of the characters. Feel free to journal a bit on the pages if you wish. In addition to decorating pages about yourself, you must also include the number 500 either somewhere on the cover of the book OR decorate a page in the book with you idea of the Attic or what the Attic means to you. If you see the Attic as a group of women sitting around drinking wine and chatting with each other, use that. Or, if you envision more as a cozy place with a nice warm fire, good friends, and some good books, do that. For the book, you must use a 6" x 6" book and decorate 15 pages. You are more than welcome to use a bigger book and/or decorate more pages if you are up for a challenge. The book can be a notebook, composition book, journal, sketch book, the possibilities are endless. Once again: Requirements 1.) a 6" x 6" book, or bigger with 15 decorated pages. You are more than welcome to decorate more. 2.) You must either include the number 500 somewhere on or in the books OR you can decorate a page with what the Attic means to you or how you see the Attic This is a newbie friendly swap so feel free to join even if you have never done a gluebook before If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of the officers or Gypsy, the founder. Edited 5x7 size book is also fine :D. |
