Description:

For this swap why don't we share our Holiday traditions. For me it would be Christmas in Nova Scotia. For you it might be an American Christmas, or could it be Hanukkah or Kwanza or do you celebrate family traditions that go back to when your ancestors came to wherever you live. Perhaps you celebrate a polish Christmas or a Swedish Christmas.

You will have one partner that you will share your Christmas with. With this include a traditional recipe(s) that you or a family member might cook. Here it would be the old acadian dish rappie pie or rapure pie as it is sometimes spelled.

Do you bake special family sweets/treats? Do you open your gifts the night before? Or if its Hanukkah open one a night? Whatever it is share it with your partner.

You can also include information on what the holiday was like in your area many years ago, how far back you go is up to you. Where did certain traditions come from that you know today. Its up to you. If their your new family traditions share that as well, also.

Your welcome to share pictures of your holidays its an option. Let us learn a little bit more about each other and our holiday traditions.
