Book Report

One of my goals for the new year is to get back to reading more. As I thought about it, I became nostalgic for those creative book reports we used to do in school.

So, for this swap, you will read a book of your choice - fiction or non-fiction, short stories, poetry, etc. There is no limit on the intended age-range for the book or the size of the book. If you can figure out how to do a book report on The Cat in the Hat or The Poky Little Puppy, go for it! If you want to read War and Peace or Moby Dick that's great too!

Then, share your book with your partner in any form of "book report" you would like. The sky's the limit, just remember you have to ship it...

With your "report," please include a short letter about why you picked the book, why you decided to do your report like you did, and anything else you'd like to share about the book or the process.

Because this is so time intensive, I'm giving a month to complete. But please don't lose track of the deadline. While you won't be receiving a report card, you don't want to hurt your ratings (or more importantly, let down another swapper.)

Because this is so time intensive, I have to set a high rating (4.95 or higher) with no recent 1s or 3s. Also, I'm sorry, no newbies - must have at least 10 Type 3 swaps. And, I reserve the right to ban based on it just not feeling right.

And, sorry to my international friends but I have to make this USA only because of the cost of shipping if someone wants to do something substantial. But if someone wants to host an international version, feel free!

Of course, you can always start your book and report right away since it's not profile specific!
