this is a new idea I have seen and thought it would make a great monthly swap.

This is a great block to give you an idea what they are all about

Basically you get a 9 pocket trading card page. these are avialable at most postoffices

they will fold in 3 and fit in a normal business envelope

You fill each pocket with something, the blog gives lots of ideas

FOR MARCH WE WILL ALL FOLLOW THE SAME IDEA SO WE GET THE IDEA FOR THIS THEN FROM APRIL YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.:)

  1. Letter
  2. Stickers (small not folded)
  3. Tea Bag
  4. Washi Samples
  5. ATC background ( pretty card cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches)
  6. Fav Quote
  7. Embellishments
  8. Recipe
    9.Own choice

THEMES

March: Above theme

April: Easter

May:pets

June :fav movie/tv series

July ;Tags (make 9 beautiful tags to go into each pocket letter). Make sure they are angled at the top, have a hole and have ribbon/twine/lace etc threaded through.

August:Emboss (pick 9 of your embossing folders) and create 9 beautiful cards to go into each pocket ... If you dont have 9 double ups are ok or any embossing folders, get in touch with me and I can send you some embossed cardstock to work with :)

September: Stamp it- Choose 9 of your fav stamps and make a beautiful card with each to go into each pocket.

October:- Profile based. Check your partner's profile and make pretty pocket letters that will delight them.

November: 5- By request. In the comments section, put a list of topics/characters/requests and your partner can make any or all of what you have requested.

December: Christmas

I've just joined the Facebook page and some of the things people are making ARE AWESOME!! I am going to hunt for these today and join the swap tonight (God willing)..then we'll have to take about themes!! I just saw a Harry Potter one that is so lovely...we could do a fav movie/tv series one and put a character on each pocket and the inside a bit about them etc...SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES!! Thank you so much for putting me onto this..I love our Aussie Group :) We just keep getting more dynamic.

I love this idea except I don't drink tea (or coffee) for religious reasons. Could they send any type of drink sachet? like cup a soup, or something?

My profle says no stickers, but of course, that is a swap requirement so my partner won't have a voodoo doll made and poked, for sending stickers lol.

This looks like a fun swap and I am looking forward to it. We have a games shop here and they sell these pages.

I had so many ideas floating around in my head that I couldn't sleep. So I've stayed up all night making my pocket letter swap page. I'm pretty happy with it and hope my partner will be too. I can do quick changes to a few things once I see my partner's profile.

Well, it is half past four in the morning and I am now sleepy. Good night fellow swappers. ♥
