Description:

The first round had a nice amount of participants so I thought I would do another round but change it up a little this time and give the Sender the choice of two specific Poets.

For this round you will choose a Poem to send to your partner written by either Emily Dickinson OR Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Make sure to include the title of the Poem and which lady Poet wrote it. The poem you choose is up to the Sender (but it must be a Poem by either Dickinson or Browning), as is the postcard but still do your best to choose a postcard that you think your partner would enjoy receiving. A Handmade postcard is allowed as long as it is not listed as a dislike by the partner your sending to. Print neatly. If the poem you choose is to long to fit in its entirety on the postcard then you may share your favorite verses/stanzas.

If your not that familiar with either Emily Dickinson or Elizabeth Barrett Browning you can read their poetry on Pinterest & Google. Although I think you all will probably recognize some of their poetry as they are both quoted frequently in greeting cards and books.

Any suggestions on Poets to choose from for future rounds please comment below!

I was thinking for future rounds Poets like: T.S. Eliot, William Wordsworth, John Keats, Maya Angelou, Sylvia Path, Robert Frost, E.E Cummings, Pablo Neruda, Edgar Allen Poe, Percy Blythe Shelley, William Shakespeare, Lord Byron, John Donne, Gerard Hopkins, Walt Whitman, Thoreau, and so on....

4.98, no recent or unexplained bad ratings or late swaps still due

William Wordsworth, John Keats, Gerard Manley Hopkins, John Donne, T.S. Eliot, Shakespeare's sonnets--I will have more after thinking a bit. I love this series--I'm retired English professor, so it really is perfect for me. PeggyO
