Description:

(Inspired by the "P.S. Write Back" swap series by @druideye )

Do you have a postcard that you would like to keep in your own collection, but would like it to have travelled properly, with a real stamp and cancellation on it?

In this swap, you will send your partner one postcard in an envelope. The partner will then write on the postcard, put a stamp on it, and send it back to you naked (without an envelope).

Getting the postcard back will have to be on the honour system, as you won't be able to rate your partner for this.

The only thing required for this swap is a postcard to be sent back. Some people may like to include extras such as postcard for your partner to keep, a stamp or International Reply Coupon for the return postage (if your partner is in your own country or you happen to have postage from your partner's country or an IRC), or a flat profile-based surprise, but these are all optional.

Don't forget to include your address, so that the postcard will be able to come back home to you! You can either write it on the postcard yourself, or include it (legibly!) on a note that you put inside the envelope with the postcard, for the partner to write on the postcard with their message. You can also include a suggestion for the partner's message - perhaps a question you would like them to answer, or something about their home town or country you would like them to describe.

When you get a postcard from your partner, please rate them to let them know the card has arrived; then PM them once you have posted their card back to them. It would be nice if you used "real" stamps for postage, rather than automatically-printed stickers showing just the value but no image.

Remember that you will have to pay postage twice in this swap! Once to send your own postcard away in an envelope, once to send someone else's postcard back home to them. And this swap is open to everyone world-wide, as with most WIYM swaps.

Don't use a postcard that you are extremely attached to! I do read through profiles to try to avoid flakers (and any flakers and non-raters that slip through will be reported in the appropriate swap-bot group), but things do occasionally get lost in the post.
