Description: | |
In Tim’s introduction to the March tag, he writes: “one of my favorite things about creating is the ability to escape the here and now. it takes your imagination to a place where you are free to explore, imagine, and discover. this month i wanted to create a tag to encourage your creative mind to wander and play. whether it’s trying new combinations of color . . using new imagery [stamps images] or combining random elements (i used an assortment of my fave idea-ology); i hope you allow yourself to embrace imperfection and enjoy the artful mind…t!m” So let's follow his advice and get a bit adventurous and creative and set aside any perfectionism. (That, however, does not mean to settle for a poor quality, too quickly thrown together tag for your partner! Just work to find creative ways to use what you have to create your best version of this tag. Swap Details: You will make your version of the March 2015 Tim Holtz Tag for ONE partner, using a standard #8 shipping tag (3-1/8” x 6-1/4”). Even though you may need to use slightly different supplies and techniques in creating your version of the tag Tim makes, your tag must be the correct size and must be close enough to his tag that your partner can recognize it as the March 2015 Tag Tim demonstrates on his web site. Sign up for this swap by March 15 and mail you tag by March 31. Since this is pretty much sender’s choice, you can get started right away, giving you lots of time to make a beautiful tag. You will find the instructions for the March 2015 tag here: CLICK HERE FOR 12 Tags of 2015--march. Please do your best work for these swaps; make them something you'd take pride in if you had a chance to show it to Tim Holtz himself. I have never seen Tim Holtz use a sticker ever, so that means we will not be using any stickers ever in these tag swaps. If you have any questions, please PM me and I will try to answer them. |
