Let's make some easy washi cards! Grab a few rolls of tape or some of the samples you've received lately and lay some strips side by side on a piece of card stock (or use cut up manila folders). In my example above, I put them diagonally and then added a row of stamped "hello" & spiral images. As not all washi tape is not created equal, I like to fold the edges around to the back so they'll stay down. When you have put as many strips as you want on the card, adhere it to a folded card. Feel free to use a similar design or come up with one of your own. Adding a stamped greeting is optional. Fine Details
Once you try one simple washi card, you may be inspired to create more and use them for pen pal cards, swap cards, etc. Everyone is welcome, as I trust no one in this group is a flaker. :) P.S. It's a quick turnaround time to send, but these are easy and I didn't want to wait until April. |
