Description: | |
Let's get to know each other better and share our interests, locale, favourites with each other. Yes, the description is long, that is because I have tried to anticipate questions or confusions and make it as clear as possible, what the requirements are. Please read it through - or you might skip the very part you accidentally leave out and risk being rated lower. Because this will be international, you may keep it as flat as possible. There is no mimimum spend, but please send what you would love to receive. Please do not join up if you are not prepared to post internationally, just in case you get a partner in a different country. Please send a letter (typed or handwritten) minimum of half A4 size paper in which you share a little about yourself, your local area, (or country if your partner is international), and why you have chosen the items you are sending. Please send three items to your partner that will help them to know a little about you. It could be where you live, what you enjoy, your favourite things, or your favourite colour. Three different items. So please don't send three postcards and call it done. This is sender's choice, but at least one needs to fit their profile somehow. Please include in your letter which item that is and why you chose it. For example: "I saw that you like beauty products, so I chose this bookmark shaped like lipstick for you." IDEAS A postcard from your local area or favourite animal! flower! food! or a beach near you. One postcard to equal one item. Three pieces of paper no smaller than ATC size (3.5 by 2.5 inches) that you have painted (if painting is your hobby), or your favourite colour, or patterned paper that shows something you are fond of. Minimum 3 pieces of paper to equal one item. Stickers (no reward, free ad, childish). 5 stickers (minimum thumb nail size) to equal one item. Any craft item such as tags, die cut flowers, pretty ribbon (minimum 12 inches), embellishments. Minimum 3 to equal one item. With the craft items, you can choose to send a maximum of two types to count toward your three items. For example, 3 die cut flowers and 3 pieces of ribbon. You may include something as an optional extra (3 tags, or an extra 3 die cut flowers for example). Something to drink (tea, coffee, cool aid, cup a soup etc). One to equal one item. Small chocolate bar or pack of lollies (candy) new and unopened. One to equal one item. Postage stamps new or used. Five to equal one item. Any other items you choose. You do not have to send any of the above. You may have better ideas of what you would like to send. Please just ensure that there are three separate items, don't be too stingey and help your partner have a glimpse into who you are. There will be 2 weeks from date swap posted until sign up deadline and then 2 weeks in which to post your swap. As this is mostly sender's choice, you can get started any time you like. For myself, I will prepare most of it now, including making notes ready for my letter. I will then finalize the swap once partners are assigned. IN A NUTSHELL Letter, 3 separate items, sender's choice, 1 based on partner's profile, have fun. Minimum 4.85 rating, no recent 1's or 3's without jolly good explanation and please respect our group - don't flake. Don't forget to put your username and the name of the swap somewhere so your partner can rate you without having to qualify as a detective, without having to figure out the who, why and what of the swap they have received.
