Description:

I don't know about y'all but it takes a cup of java to get me going most mornings. So, on that note, let's share a cuppa joe! Let's make our pockets, coffee themed (assuming everyone in group is familiar with the pocket craze by now 😊) Coffee themed paper, sturdy paper stock (no flimsy papers please unless as an extra or incorporated onto a sturdy cardstock background) embellishments, etc... Back sides are not required to be decorated. Use your judgement, if you dirty up the backside while arting up the front, put a piece of decorated/plain paper over it. Do your best work! Same thing with extra embellishments... your choice. Send something you'd love to receive. On the back of one pocket, a note with name of the swap, your name and/ or a little note revealing your favorite coffee.

I personally, find these pockts to be quite challenging. Let's NOT just cut coffee themed paper, put them into the pockets & call it good. Drink a cup of coffee, be creative & think outside of the box! Hey, maybe you can make an atc using the box from your favorite coffee! Just an idea! Mostly, have fun!

One 9 Pocket to one swapper.

Coffee theme paper do you mean graphics with coffee or can you use just background of color of coffee?

I think I need some clarification on what's expected for this swap. I have an idea, but it might just be easier if I ask a slew of questions.

  • Are we expected to include little goodies for our partner in the pockets?
  • If so, how many pockets should contain goodies?
  • Should the front of the PL be totally decorated (even after goodies are removed, if there are goodies)?
  • Should the back be 'lightly' decorated, or is just blank fine?

User2637, your choice... backsides do not have to be decorated & extra embellishments are not required. Send something you'd love to receive. The front of the PL should be decorated. Just extras should not fill the pockets because if they are removed to be used, there would be an empty pocket... hope this makes sense. Thank you for asking these questions & making me clarify my swap 😊

Okay, so completely decorated front, back decoration optional, goodies optional? Sorry, just want to be clear!

Please use card stock or decent scrap book paper for the pockets. I got a Pocket Letter (not naming which swap from which site so I don't hurt any feelings) but the person used magazine paper and it ripped when I tried to get into the pockets to see what goodies were behind the pages. We want STURDY pocket design. I want to be able to put the PL in a binder and save it. It should look nice after people take out any goodies because some of us save them as art projects either in a binder or in a smash book.

So agree techgrlkay! I will incorporate that info into my swap! Thank y'all for helping me with this!!

These swaps for the group are to make it easy on mailing for you Whether it be mine or my officers putting them up. Not necessary to put a lot of "stuff" in them but be creative. Also, If you use a magazine cut out, it should go on a card stock too. Just check description carefully for themes or requests. Thanks for this one Scrappermama!
