Alfred Noyes will be our featured Poet for this Poetry on a Postcard.

Sender will pick a Poem of their choice by Alfred Noyes, and a postcard that will best showcase their poem selection. The postcard may be store bought or quality hand made. The postcard should be sent naked, which means not in an envelope. Make sure to include the swap title and your swapbot name so that you can be easily rated by your partner.

Alfred Noyes is probably most famously known for his poem "The Highwayman", though he has many wonderful poems.

Here is an excerpt from "The Highwayman":

"The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees.
The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas.
The road was a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor,
And the highwayman came riding— Riding—riding— The highwayman came riding, up to the old inn-door... "
