Description:

I've been having lots of fun with pocket letters lately and of course, am watching lots of YouTube videos and searching Google Images for inspiration. I like to see what others are creating and also what fun goodies they are using to decorate the cards for the pockets, using as tuck-ins, or using the decorate the out side of some of the pockets. It's been fun to find things (or make things) from my own stash of supplies.

I then thought it might be fun to have a swap where we share some of our own "pocket letter goodies" for others to be able to use when making pocket letters. After all, I'm sure we all have a TON of cool things within our own stashes. :)

These can be things you make (e.g. stamped images, die cuts, punched shapes, pretty papers for pocket backgrounds, etc.) to things like washi tape samples, stickers, tape flags, clips, fibers, ribbon, etc. The possibilities really seem to be endless.

Here's what we'll do:

To each of our 2 partners, we will send little goodies to be able to use or include when making our own pocket letters. At a minimum, please pick 8 things from the list below and give a few of each item to each partner. [I'm leaving it up to each of you to use your own judgement on the quantity of each item you give. As a guideline, think of how many of each item you would add to a pocket. I don't think you would add just one sticker in a pocket. Me? I'd add 3 or 4.]

I've included a list below, but you may have other ideas too. I may have to host several rounds of this swap. :)

  • stickers
  • die cuts
  • punched shapes
  • ribbon
  • buttons
  • paper flowers
  • bling
  • pretty papers
  • used postage stamps
  • doilies
  • sequins
  • confetti
  • stamped images or sayings
  • quotes
  • post-it notes
  • pages flags/markers
  • small envelopes
  • tags
  • post it notes
  • project life cards
  • tiny brads

This swap is sender's choice so we can all get started on our items before partners are assigned if we want to. Sending your items in a pocket letter holder may be the easiest way to keep them organized and flat, but it's not mandatory.

Minimum joining requirements: 4.95, with at least 10 completed (and favorably rated) Type 2 or 3 swaps, with no 1s or 3s in the last 12 months.

I'm so excited, after I hit "create swap," I'm going to start sorting. Oh I love to share! LOL! :)

If anyone has any questions, please post below in the comments.

Just to be sure, we would NOT be sending this swap in the form of a pocket letter?

@quirkandbramble that's correct. We're mainly sending goodies that our partner will be able to use in the making of their own pocket letters. You don't have to include a letter, but you may if you want to, in case you want to tell about any of your included items.

Oops!!! I mailed on the 18th and then left for vacation and forgot to mark as mailed. Sorry about that!
