Description:

While I was browsing pinterest I came across this image (in the swap photo) and thought that it would be a really fun and easy ATC swap idea. Because these are likely to go pretty quickly, and probably be addictive to make, we'll have three partners.

The only materials allowed for this swap are Sharpies and an ATC sized piece of white cardstock.

Choose a dark colored sharpie to make a series of loops and lines on your paper. I recommend doing some cross overs and such. The goal is to create a lot of different spaces.

Once you have your lines drawn, choose your first sharpie and color in some of the spaces you created. When you're satisfied with that, choose a second color and fill in some more spaces. Repeat as necessary. When you are finished all the spaces should be colored. Ideally you'll use at least five colors but ultimately that is artists choice.

Try to be sure not to have two spaces of the same color touching each other.

As always, if you have any questions feel free to message me or post below.

Would love to join but are any colored markers acceptable? I only have a black sharpie and I don't want to have to buy more. I do have other types of colored markers. 8-) Thanks!

This was the very first ATCs I ever did!

I think any type of marker would be fine as long as it has the finished piece has a polished look. I chose sharpie because it doesn't have much of s stripey look when you color in large areas. I recommend trying it out with your other markers and see how it works. If you're happy with it then it should be fine :)

Some one asked if it would be alright to use a lighter color for the line, even though the description says dark color, and that is just fine. As long as the final product looks good, which I'm not worried about in this group :)
