Everyone else is doing it, let's do it too. No, not jumping off a bridge but participating in a pocket letter swap. For this swap we will create an ephemera themed pocket letter. A pocket letter is when you take the 9 pocket sleeve thingy that ATCs or baseball trading cards are put in and fill it. But wait, there's more! One space is for a letter from you. Talk about your ephemera habit, what you like, why you collect, what you do with your ephemera, how you store it, etc. One space is an ATC using ephemera made by you. The other 7 spaces are up to you. Use our usual ideas (tickets, bus passes, library papers, security envelope patterns, interesting illustrations from old magazines, menus, junk mail, stickers, washi samples, a gift tag (handmade or from the store), doilies, lace, fabric, die cuts, 35 mm slides, film, old photos, playing card, used postage stamps, etc.). Use a variety of materials and make your overall piece a work of art. These pocket letters fold nicely into a standard US business envelope but may require additional postage.
