I just went through my washi stash and came up with several categories that I apparently love! :) I have five ideas so I'm going to create five different swaps! For this swap, we will focus on BRIGHTS - SOLIDS/PATTERNED! Send your partner at least 5 different washi tape samples of bright colors and patterns - mix up the amount of solids and patterns, please do not send all solid colors or all patterns! Stray away from the darker colors and patterns..when in doubt, don't send it. :) Samples should be at least 18 inches long. Wrap your samples around a taped-playing card or other material or you can use piece of plastic. Please make sure your playing card/material is completely covered in packing tape so the washi doesn't have a chance to stick onto the paper. I'd like to make this swap a little different! In addition to the at least 5 washi tape samples, I think it'd be neat to send your partner a small craft that you've made with the theme of this swap. Use at least 3 bright colored solids and patterned tapes with any other coordinating tapes on your craft. It can be a bookmark, a note card with envelope (envelope does not have to be decorated but only if you wish), a postcard, a letter set (two sheets of paper decorated and one envelope decorated- the paper can be folded to fit into its envelope, or any other idea you can think of. Please send something you would like to receive. Real washi only; no paper tape, glitter tape, peel and stick, dollar store tape, deco/plastic tape, etc. Sender's choice, but it's always nice to check your partner's likes and dislikes. :) If you need the dates changed or have questions, please message me.
