Sept. 28: Edited to change send by date from Oct.19 to Oct. 26. Can't draw or paint? Then this is the swap for you (and me)! To make a paint blot, you drip or 'plop' small amounts of paint (any paint you like - acrylic craft paint from the dollar store works just fine) onto card stock or similar weight paper, then fold in half and mash. Then open your paper and see what you have. When your paper is folded, you can mash it squarely or use your fingers to push out from the middle or from side to side. Depending on which way you do it, and the amount of paint used, your finished blot can turn out all kinds of different ways. Just don't paint it on, trying to make something in particular - that rarely works well, and that is not a true paint blot. Please use at least 2 colours. Make your paint blots, let them dry, cut them out (or not), and give them a proper backing for normal PC sturdiness. Optional: You may add other details using ink, sharpies, glitter, etc. if you wish. ALSO, on the front of your PC, add a caption of some kind - silly, serious, funny, wry, whatever you like - that relates in some way to the image you have created. On the back, tell your partner about your experience making the PC. You may make your PC any size you like as long as it can be sent naked in the mail (not in an envelope). PLEASE NOTE: I check profiles carefully before assigning partners. To be in this swap, you must have: I will angel this swap as long as you have tried to resolve the situation with your partner and have had no choice but to rate them a 1. Since I do not check my swaps daily, please pm me if you have any questions. Thx. Have fun! (";) |
