PLEASE READ ENTIRE SWAP DESCRIPTION

This is a USA swap only. Feel free to host your own international one.

ALSO - there are a couple of swappers that sometimes join my swap that are from Canada, but have a USA address too....PLEASE CHECK YOUR PARTNERS PROFILE

You will have 1 partner and send one wrapped gift. A gift must cost minimum $1, not including postage. It can be store-bought or handmade. Your gift must be wrapped. Sender's choice. Do not send any food. Your partner may wait until December to open your gift. NOTE for the months of November and December food is allowed.

REQUIREMENT add a tag with your name/swap-bot ID/month in case your partner keeps it wrapped until December and wants to contact you then.

Once again, it's sender's choice. But please, check your partner's wish list and dislikes. No trash, no junk, no dirty/damaged items. You must send only new at least $1-valued wrapped item. NEW REQUIREMENT I've had some complaints that some of the gifts are too big to actually put into a stocking. Please try and send a gift that will actually fit into a stocking.

As long as it meets the swap requirements then please rate a 5, even if it's something you can't use.

You can open your gift once you've received it or you can pop your wrapped gift in your Christmas Stocking till December. It's up to you! But please do rate your partner once you've received it, even if you are going to keep it wrapped till Christmas.

Newbies welcomed, with a well filled out profile (I DO CHECK AND WILL BAN). No recent/unexplained low ratings and you must check into swap-bot within 3 days of partners being assigned. PLEASE check out my profile page and read the "About Swaps I Host" section for an in-depth explaination of my swap rules.

Also ~ I live in "Boonyville" Michigan and sometimes our internet connection isn't very good. This is especially true when it rains & in the winter months. I have been told that swap hosts have 7 days after the sign up date to assign partners. So please be patient, partners will get assigned and if needed I will extend the send date.

If you know of a bad swapper signed up for this swap, I appreciate being informed, but please DO NOT post to the comment section! Send me a PM and I will deal with it that way.

I also have a Kid's version of this swap

Weird complaints "to big present". I would be excitied to get a big present. It would mean to me the person took time to do or get something on your profile for you and feel you were worth more then a dollar.

@sandypoe - maybe it was due to limited storage space(?)

I was really looking forward to this swap but just noticed there is no minimum requirement. After glancing at a couple participants, including one with 17 ones...I feel it is not worth it to participate. (I've had a 1 rating but some of these seems excessive and without cause) I appreciate all the work you hosts do, but would you consider hosting another one WITH a minimum requirement? Thank you so much!

@TurtleLove - no, I do not put minimum number requirements on my swaps. I DO check each persons profile before partners are assigned. If the low ratings are several months old and the most recent ones are high, then that person is allowed in.

I also try and read each reason as to why they received that rating. I've seen several 1 and 3's due to the postmark being 1 or 2 days after the deadline. Personally I find that stupid. I live in a rural area and the post office is unreliable (see my profile)

Things happen in life and each of us handle it in a different way.

I wish you luck.
