Here's a quick & sweet way to make 4 photo ATCs. Choose a photo that you've taken yourself and have it printed so that it's 5 x 7 inches. Back it with cardstock and then cut it into fourths by cutting it in half and then cutting each half in half--the result will be 4 ATCs, each measuring 2.5 x 3.5 inches. No further embellishment necessary--just send 1 of the resulting ATCs to each of your 4 partners. The results can be interesting (I think) because when you cut the photo into fourths it yields a new center and focus for each ATC. It's a way to see each part of your photo afresh. The subject matter of your photo is entirely up to you. Kind of camera used and degree of digital alteration (or none at all) are also sender's choice. You can print your photo at home or have it commercially printed--either is fine as long as the result is a good quality print that you then back with cardstock before cutting. The fine print: 1) Newbies are welcome. 2) Rated swappers with a rating below 4.95 will be dropped before partners are assigned. I will also drop swappers whose profiles may cause concern; if there's something on your profile that you think might raise eyebrows, please contact me in advance. 3) This is an international swap! And--importantly--have fun! |
