Actually no, plastic was not what I had in mind. However you could always check with your partner to see what they prefer.

last week I was at Michaels and I saw metal cookie cutters for I believe for less then 1.00

My grandmother has been looking everywhere for a BLACK BEAR cookie cutter... not the typical teddy bears, toy bears, cartoon ones, a REAL bear... and they don't seem to be anywhere so if anyone has one i'd be willing to trade private.. or hope that I get you as a partner because it would be an AMAZING suprise for her.
