We are trying something new with this swap! Instead of sticker bags, label bags and other types of bags, let's do Washi Bags! We will send our partner 2 washi bags. How washi bags work: Take a bag or envelope and fill it with individually wrapped washi samples (I recommend 10). On the outside of the bag include the following:
For exaple, my bags say "Take out 5 samples and add 10 new samples. Each washi sample should be at least 15 inches. Sign and date. Last person to sign, please send home. Please no dollar store, Studio G, glitter tapes or plain colored tapes. Thank you!" I created mine in an envelope. but if you want to make yours out of a small plastic bag, or a paper bag that is fine too - whatever works for you. My bags will have 5 people sign before it is sent back to me. I also put "made by and for:" above my address. Feel free to change up aspects of the washi bags. For example, you could request the people who sign take out 4 and add 8, or you have a six people sign the bag before it is sent to you. Or maybe you want to change the legth requirements of the samples, etc. You will send your washi bags to your assigned partner. When you receive the bags in the mail, follow the instructions on the bag. You can either go ahead and mail it to someone you know will like it and will pass it on, or wait until we have another swap for washi bags. Make sure you don't mail the washi bags on to someone who has already signed the bag, or to the person the bag is intended for. I hope this was clear enough! I'm new to hosting so let me know if there is anything I should change or clarify to make this swap better. ;) |
