Rubber stamp that ephemera (destash)

This is a spin on our usual ephemera destash swaps and will incorporate destashing our hoards and using our hoard of rubber stamps at the same time.

Gather some lovely ephemera and use rubber stamps to decorate it.

Gather your paper ephemera such as book pages, magazine pages, take out menus, playing cards, food labels, sheet music, etc and put a rubber stamp on it that your partner can later use in his/her art.

Send at minimum 5 stamped pieces of larger paper (3 x 5 to 4 x 6 inches) or 10 pieces of 2 x 2 inch papers. Use common sense and just send nice stuff.

Feel free to create a scene with your stamps or just stamp a single image. It's best to use a permanent, non-bleeding ink such as Stayz-On. If you don't use an ink like Stayz-On, let your partner know.

If you're working on glossy paper (brochures, some playing cards, etc.) be sure to use the right kind of ink so it doesn't bleed. Again, Stayz-On doesn't bleed on glossy (no, I don't get a percentage of their sales royalties - I just like that ink).

Feel free to use hand carved rubber stamps or store bought or a combination. Nothing vulgar unless you know your partner is cool with that.

Any questions or comments, please use the space below. Possibly I've forgotten or just not thought of some aspect ...

Most importantly: have fun.
