The Wacky Days PC swap is a take on the wacky, strange, bizarre holidays swaps, but with postcards. Send your one partner a postcard that fits one of the themes for the week. It is GOOD to be creative: this is for fun! Week 49 is Monday, November 30th through Sunday, December 6th. Here is a list of Wacky Days: November 30 Stay At Home Because You Are Well Day December 1 Eat a Red Apple Day 1 World Aids Awareness Day 2 National Fritters Day 3 National Roof over Your Head Day 4 Santas' List Day - we hope you are on the "Nice" list 4 Wear Brown Shoes Day 5 Bathtub Party Day 5 Repeal Day - The 21st Amendment ends Prohibition. I'll drink to that! 6 St. Nicholas Day 6 Mitten Tree Day 6 Put on your own Shoes Day Not sure what some of these holidays are? Click on the links below and there are clicky links on that website that describes the holiday!
The list of wacky days I will use consistently is November Holiday and December Holiday so please feel free to browse future weeks for possible postcards to use from your stash. The website does list some normal holidays too, I will include them since I am using that list, but I encourage you to find the wackiest one from your stash each week. You should rate your partner at least a 5 if they sent on time, and mentioned the wacky day and how it relates to the card. Please remember this is wacky and it is more than okay to be silly with the theme and stretch a bit and think outside the box!! If you only think inside the box this might not be the swap for you! image from a search - Sinterklaas chocolade!! (and I see it is from darkdriver, thanks darkdriver for the lovely image...I wish I was eating a chocolate santa right now!) |
