Description:

This should be an easy swap, as we all come across these random bits every day.

For this swap, you'll be sending them your partner random paper bits and ephemera that you have laying around, that you personally collect after signing up for this swap. Please don't send ephemera that you already have or that you buy; these bits must be recent pieces from your life. Here are a few examples:

  • train tickets / bus tickets
  • cinema stubs / any sort of attractive receipts
  • dried flowers / leaves
  • clothing tags
  • maps
  • used gift cards
  • shopping lists / used sticky notes
  • used stamps from recent mail
  • coupons/vouchers
  • pretty/fun wrappers
  • beer mats & drink coasters
  • free/ad postcards
  • bottle caps (interesting ones! not boring plastic ones)
  • fortunes
  • cut-outs/leaflets/folded pages from local newspapers, magazines, etc.
  • ... anything else you come across that you find interesting!

I know most of this would be considered junk to most people but not for those who love ephemera. This will tell us a little bit about you, where you live, and who you are - these bits you collect and send to your partner will be unique to you. That being said, you are an interesting person, so try to send an interesting assortment.

Your assortment should include a minimum of 10 miscellaneous pieces of ephemera. Please send a variety of items that reflect you and include a short note relating to at least some of the items you send. Maybe the tag came off a shirt you just purchased for your daughter. Or you used the gift card to go to your favorite restaurant.

Any questions? Just ask!
