Following this tutorial (basically), you will create a tree for your partner. You don't have to go to IKEA and get the fabric though. Just use the basic pattern that she has about 1/2 way down the page and make a tree with the word that your partner has requested embroidered/painted/etc. on it somewhere. Make it pretty, funky, colorful, whatever you want to do, but it's nice to look at their profile to make sure you don't make something in a color they hate ;) When you sign up, be sure to put a word that you'd like on your tree in the comments below. After partners have been assigned, be sure to come back and check what word your partner would like on her tree. Also, let's add a ribbon so that we can hang our trees for all to see. You can lightly stuff or keep your tree "fairly" flat by just using a piece of felt for the inside of it, but make sure it has something to give it some stability. I'm leaving about 6 weeks in case you want to try to make a couple before you send out. And because this is fairly small, it shouldn't be much to send so I'm leaving it international also.
