Welcome to round two of our Stocking Stuffers Series! This round's theme is handmade. For this type 3 swap, we will be sharing our art and craft talents. You will send one small gift to your partner. The gift must be handmade by you, non-edible, wrapped, and small enough to fit in a stocking! Use whatever your favorite crafting or art techniques to create your item. Examples might include a small plush toy, a piece of jewelry, a little object made from polymer clay, a beautifully sewn pouch for tarot cards or gems, a painting on a tiny canvass… there are nearly endless options! Only three-dimensional objects, though. I know people are doing gorgeous things with cards, but this swap is for a little gift, and not a card. Be sure to include a gift tag with your SB name so your partner will know who sent the gift come Christmas =) Extra credit for including a note about how you acquired the skills you used, why you love doing them, its history or something like that. There will be two weeks after sign-up ends to get your gift wrapped & sent off to your partner. When you receive a wrapped stocking stuffer from your partner, please rate them promptly for being on time & following the general swap guidelines. Then if you'd like, you can edit your rating at Christmas once you've opened the gift. In summary, a few things to keep in mind: The gift must be handmade, and is sender's choice. But please considering checking your partner's profile, though, so you can tailor it a bit to their liking if you want to really wow them! The gift must be non-edible. [We will have swaps with store-bought & food themes coming up!] The gift must be wrapped with a gift tag. Ratings must be given upon receipt of the swap package~ hearts and/or additional comments can be added after you've opened your gift. Happy swapping, sisters! |
