I love Pocket Letters! I recently made one using a full sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper that had a picture of an owl on it. You'll have one partner for this swap. PM me if you'd like to swap with me as well. You're going to take a sheet of scrapbook paper that has a picture on it, cut it into (9) 2.5 x 3.5 pieces, and make a pocket letter out of it. Depending on the page you use, it'll have some gaps, but you should be able to see the full picture. Add a quote that pertains to your picture in the front. Decorating your picture is completely optional. Goodies should be tucked into the back pockets if you choose to add them. Things to keep in mind: If you cut the 3.5 side first, you'll have exactly nine pieces to work with. There will be gaps, but they should enhance, not detract, from the picture. If there are words in the design, make sure all words are whole. Try to keep things relatively flat to save on postage. You can fold up the pocket letter and send in a long envelope. Open to swappers with at least a 4.90 rating. I will be checking profiles carefully. No unexplained 1's or 3's. PM me if you want to be included, but do not meet the rating requirements. I will look into the circumstances. I reserve the right to Ban as I see fit. Send your swap on time, and don't forget to rate your partner. Think of your rating as a thank you note, it's very nice to thank the person who took time to create something for you. Rate a 5 if it was sent on time, even if you didn't like it. Hearts are completely optional. If you don't receive your swap please let me and your partner know before rating a 1 or 3. I will angel if necessary, but I hope it won't come to that. |
