Number of swap partners:1
Description:

In this swap each participant will create 12 ATC's. Each ATC is to be decorated to the theme of one of each of the 12 months (January, February, March, etc.)

For example, for October, you can do a Halloween theme, For November you could do a Thanksgiving theme or harvest, For December you could do winter, or Christmas, or Kwanzaa or Hannukah or whatever. These are just examples so do whaever your creative juices come up with, just fit it to the month.

Each participant will have one partner for which they will create 12 ATC's-one for each of the 12 months of the year.

Standard ATC rules apply. If you do not know them, ask or Google "ATC" or "Artist Trading Cards" and you will find a plethora of information.

QUALITY WORK ONLY. Do NOT stick some stickers on cardstock and call it an ATC. Create art that you would be happy to receive. Perfection is not expected by EFFORT is.

Newbies are welcome with full and complete profiles. No ratings requirement however anyone with no-sends in the last 3 months will not be accepted. I will check each profile prior to assigning partners. If you have unfair ratings or extenuating circumstances, PM me before signing up and explain and I will make a judgment call.

Any questions, feel free to message me. You can start making these cards now before partners are assigned if you desire.

EDIT: INTERNATIONAL SWAPPERS WELCOME TO JOIN

Have fun!

This sounds like fun. I have never seen any body do them all in ine swap. Just a few or one month at a time.

Hi SallyAnn! I have seen that too. I'm too impatient to wait a full year to acquire a complete set, LOL!

I will sign up as time is closer, but remember that people like me (in Australia) are opposite in seasons, so winter for us is june/july not xmas ;)

I'm new on swop-bot, but have been crafting a few years. This is an amazing idea - 12 different ATCs! That's so much more fun than getting just 1 :-) I'm definitely in!

I'm gonna have to really think hard about some of the months "down under", but getting 12 ATC's all at once is too tempting to pass up.....I'm in too!!!

I want to make a request - if at all possible, PLEASE upload photos of the ATCs you received, even if it's just 1 or 2. It would be amazing to see how everyone interpreted this theme!!

I post all of my work on Flickr. I will be creating a set for the ATC's I've received. It's a great site. Mine is www.flickr.com/angelasoper/collections

I browsed your Flickr ATC collection, and have gained some confidence - I wasn't really sure what to do :-) There's a link top right on this page that says "Upload Swap Image". Is it better to upload here, or to use Flickr? Where does it go if I upload here?

GoingTwinsane 11/ 5/2008 #

That's just to upload a different picture than the one that is already there. I personally prefer Flickr but I use it so...:)

I hope nobody made the same mistake I did - I sent my package to this swap off with my husband and asked him to drop it off at the MAIN postoffice and not the sub-office at the local drug store as the mail going out from that location is picked up by the postal person at 3 p.m.. Items dropped off there don't go out until the next day with tomorrow being a postal holiday this package won't go out until Wednesday. I hope no one else made ther same mistake. Sorry to my partner!
