Description: | |
For this swap each of the 9 pockets will have a charm as part of the embellishment for each card. Charms do not need to be fancy or expensive. You can usually find little packets of charms at arts and craft stores that are quite inexpensive. They can be flat on one side, and minimally raised on the other. The subject for each pocket card and the charm attached should coordinate. Actual subject matter and decorative materials are sender's choice. However, you might want to check your partner's profile to make sure you are not including something that they thoroughly dislike. While I would like to see all nine pockets relate in some way to a theme, given feedback that I have received from group members (thank you!), I now realize that finding 9 different charms in one theme can be more than a little challenging. What I do ask is that the pocket page as a whole be attractive in its' presentation. This might be accomplished by repeating a color in different shades through the different pockets or using a particular style of art. Again, this is sender's choice. You may use the same charm in more than one pocket if you are unable to find enough different charms in your geographical area, but their use should not detract from the overall presentation of the pocket page. On the reverse side, a picture or photo of a scene, or paper with an interesting design should be cut into 9 pieces to fit in each of the pockets. As with all swaps in this group, no extras are required, but neither are they banned. Include a card in one of the back pockets with relevant swap info. And enjoy your creative process! |
