Description:

We haven’t really had a lot of swaps centred around Cryptozoology, and I think we have been missing out!!! There are so many of our best loved myths and legends that feature these fabulous creatures.

Put together a parcel of cryptid goodies for your partner. You should send at least four different items. To make it more of a challenge, it is senders choice for three of the creatures you choose, but the fourth is your partners choice. When you sign up, you should comment below with ONE creature that you would like to see in your package. Some examples are the Loch Ness Monster, Sasquatch, Jackanapes, Mermaids and my personal favourite Unicorns. There are many, many others to choose from, and a quick google search should give you more ideas.

Suggestions on items you could send;- pens, pencils, postcards, bookmarks, jewellery, ornaments, notebooks, ATC’s, zines. Out of the four items, two can be paper based (postcards, notecards etc.) and no more than two can be handmade.

Group swapping rules apply, but I reserve the right to remove anyone I feel may be cause for concern. Please PM me or comment below with any questions/comments etc.

Zoe, do you mean the Jackalope? A jackrabbit with antelope horns?

I would like the Flatwoods Monster.

Oh Good Grief!! I never have been able to spell!!!!!!

Yes, I do mean the Jackalope! Thank you @kiddo47

Oh I would love this... where on earth would I find cryptid stuff? Where will you find it? The two handmade would be paper-based as well as I'm not good with anything else. But where would you suggest finding other stuff?

@owlsinathens , search cryptids or cryptozoology on Etsy. There are tons of items, or at least maybe tons of crafting ideas. The Mothman, Flatwoods Monster, Jersey Devil, Chupacabra, and Yeti are also popular cryptids. I got two of my items off of eBay for super cheap.

This is a fun swap! The creature I would like is the Unicorn. I would usually pick a mermaid, being a little bit obsessed, but since they are partially humanoid I am going to be a purist with this swap and go for non humanoid creatures :)

@owlsinathens - Etsy or Ebay are my go to places for all things fantastical. Even Amazon for some things.

hm I'll have to go look and see if they can send to me before the swap deadline. Thanks for the tipps Ladies :)

My choice is the Faye, any type of faerie. :)

Here is a little "Cryptid Zoo" I found with a quick google search if anyone would like to check it out. :)
